Hi,

I'm Jacqui. Struggling with the touch screen qwerty keyboard on my samsung tocco lite mobile phone due to my poor dexterity, keep mispelling words.

Can anyone recommend a phone, ideally a smartphone that they find easy to use please, as am due to upgrade soon?

Thanks in advance

Smile

Hi Jacqui

I used to have a LG Renoir touch screen phone, but in December I upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S android phone (as I'm quite a geek too) If you turn the phone sideways you get a bigger keyboard, and it also has the swype feature too

I think most android phones have these features now, such as HTC desire etc.

I've found the screen a lot more responsive too, which helped a lot with text input.

There's a raft of new Android based phones about to launch, such as the Galaxy S2, but there's some really good deals on slightly older models if you shop around.

Hope this helps :)

Jo.

Ohh forgot to add it might be worth seeing if a local mobile phone shop has a range of phones that you could try out, rather than the dummy handsets they usually have on display.

Hope you find one :)

Hi Jacqui,

I have a HTC Desire Z - which has both touch screen and a fold out keyboard. It works pretty well for me - the keyboard is the length of the phone, rather than the width, so there is a tiny gap between each button.
